Our Doctor

​​​​​Meet Dr. Ailleen Jacob. She’s an optometrist who has practiced in the greater Los Angeles and San Diego county and has recently called Chula Vista her home. She graduated from Western University of Health Sciences with honors and is part of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society for optometrists. Her experience encompasses a wide array of ocular disease practices with a focus on refractive and cataract surgical interventions. Prior to optometry school, she was a registered nurse with a focus on dermatology/wound care.

Her experience within healthcare gives her a unique approach to eye care ensuring that systemic and ocular disease issues are all addressed. She has a peaked interest in treating dry eye and preventive care/well-visit examinations.  She ends each exam ensuring all questions are answered and that all patients are knowledgeable about their health.
